This will be my fifth year and I’m loving every second of it.

What is your favorite body part and why to train?

Arms and abs, I love how good they both make you look and the movements of the workouts are awesome. Not a lot of women have big arms and abs so to have them you know you work out and train.

What is your lease favorite body part and why to train?

Legs. I think everyone will agree leg day is the worst.

How did you get started?

My father was my inspiration, he is a black belt in taekwondo and I always wanted to follow in his footsteps. My first fight was an all-female fight for breast cancer and my aunt had just passed away from breast cancer so that card became very close to my heart. After that card I loved the sport so UFC became my goal.

Have you ever had any tragedies in your life and how did you get through them?

YES! My aunt passing away of breast cancer, she fought so hard, so I got through it by fighting as well and every fight I’m in, I fight for her.

What do you do for your workouts?

Cross fit, and a lot of classes muay thai, boxing, jiu jitsu, and cardio.

Why do you like your sport?

I like my sport because it keeps me looking and feeling great, the adrenaline rush is incredible and being the best is my ultimate goal.

What motivates you?

My dream to reach the UFC and my team is what keeps me going.

Who is your inspiration?

My coach, Jorge Gurgel. I have never in my life had someone love me as a person so much and not just as another student. He treats me as though I’m family and push me to my full potential because he wants to see me reach my dream just as much as I do. I love you Professor Jorge, Zoila, And Stephanie you have done so much and are so dear to my heart.

Do you get more attention now that you’re in better shape than before?

For sure, everyone wants to know how I got this way, what I do, what my diets like. All the basic questions.

I love being asked to flex I get it a lot it just lets me know that people see how great of shape I’m in and the hard work I put in is being noticed.

What are people’s reactions to the way you look?

They are shocked, because you can see I’m in shape but it really shocks most people when I flex how big I actually really am, because my body carries it so well.
